Power Video has just contracted with the city of Chula Vista's Planning Department to shoot a training video for their city planners. We look forward to this association and are eager for shooting to start.

Just back from a video shoot in Roatan, Honduras. A week of intensive diving in search of great things! Some good footage was added to our library, including aerial footage, but unfortunately none of the large animals we were looking for showed up. You can put yourself in a place, but that doesn't mean that the big beauties will cooperate! This summer we're off to the wrecks of North Carolina to find the snaggly-toothed Sand Tiger Sharks!

Great White Sharks are the pinnacle, in many respects, of underwater video aquisition. Trips are expensive and locations are remote. Isle De Quadalupe, 160 miles of the coast of Mexico, was a 22-hour boat trip from San Diego harbor... and worth every minute spent getting there! Three full days of cage diving with 13-15 foot females meant much broadcast-quality footage was gained. Not only that, but our owner, Bill, was pictured shooting the magnificent creatures in the photographic magazine, Nature's Best.

A wedding as timeless as a diamond. That's what everyone wants. Bob and Tammy got that this past weekend, but it wasn't arrived at quickly. They took a year to plan their exciting event and were eager to have video coverage be a part of that. When they first approached us we met them at their house, went over the details, and assured them they had one less thing to worry about. We're proud to say we played a successful part in their special day.

Power Video has added another "arrow to the quiver"! Our owner, Bill, is now scuba instructor certified. He has aligned himself with the biggest dive shop in San Diego, Ocean Enterprises, and is qualified to teach all levels up through Dive Master (as well as many specialties including Nitrox and Wreck).
